It really happened! It’s finally a POWDER DAY! Crested Butte Mountain Resort received 11 inches of snow in the past 24 hours and are expecting Mother Nature to dump another foot of pristine, white, fluffy, snow in the next few days! Thank you Mother Nature! We have 14 lifts ready to take you up to get some powder turns on our 93 gorgeous trails. Our groomer’s took this beautiful new snow and turned it into some amazing corduroy, especially on Treasury, our groomer’s choice of the day.

Crested Butte Mountain Resort’s snowshoe tour is a unique way to experience the majestic surroundings of the valley. Tours explore areas of the mountain where few skiers go. Participants learn about the history of the area and qualities of the local ecosystem. Tours last about two and a half hours and include a guide, snowshoes, poles, a lift ride, water, and a light snack. Tours leave at 12:30 p.m. daily. For more information and reservations stop by the Mountain Concierge desk in the Adventure Center or call 970.349.4554. Get a Free Lift Ticket when flying into GUC. Fly to Gunnison-Crested Butte and one day of skiing (a $107 value) at Crested Butte Mountain Resort is on us for each person on your air itinerary. Valid for round trip flights into Gunnison (GUC) via non-stop Houston (IAH), Chicago (ORD), or Dallas (DFW) flights with an arrival date between February 23, 2015 – April 6, 2015, except for March 5 – 19, 2015. To qualify, airline tickets must be purchased after January 15, 2015. One leg of trip may go through Denver. Go get yourself some well deserved powder turns and catch some snowflakes on your tongue!
