Happy Sunday from your Snow Betty on January 8th 2012. I am happy to announce we have 5 new inches of that sweet white stuff in the last 24 hours bringing our total to 25 inches today. With a high of 26*F today and a 60% chance of snow it is going to be a wonderful day on the hill with some more freshies. We have 12 lifts open this weekend bringing you access to 462 acres of open skiable terrain. We have 73% of our total terrain open with 93% of our beginner and intermediate terrain open and 54% of our advanced terrain now open. There are 59 trails open with 30 groomed trails of Colorado's Best Corduroy. The Groomer's Choice trail today is Upper Park.
Have you tried Ten Peaks yet? Ten Peaks is located at the top of the Painter Boy lift and will be serving coffee, pre-made sandwiches, soups and a full-service bar. Swing by and check it out.
Today we have Subaru Master the Mountain in the base area. Hone your skills with free mini ski and snowboard lessons, enjoy music, giveaways, games and Nordica ski demos. Also, Icelantic will have demos in the base area today, too.
