Announcements
Good morning lovers of fresh, white snow! On this Tuesday, the 7th day of February in 2012, I am pleased to report that Crested Butte Mountain Resort has received 3 inches of snow in the past 24 hours, creating a fluffy 40 inch base. Add that to mostly sunny skies, with temperatures reaching the comfortable mid 20 degree range, and I'd say that's a recipe for one heck of a day on the slopes!

Enjoy the views from any of the 13 lifts spinning today, leading you to 86 trails that are open, spread across 770 skiable acres. Colorado's best corduroy covers 61 of those trails and the heedful groomers recommend Black Eagle as their groomer's choice for the day. But you know what? That's not all, Crested Butte Mountain Resort has to offer. There are also three terrain parks spread throughout the mountain, that have features and bumps for any level of jibber. Did you know Crested Butte Mountain has the only super pipe in southwestern Colorado? With 98% of the mountain open, including 100% of beginner, intermediate and advanced terrain and 27% of extreme terrain, there's something out there for everyone!

Do you think the mountain closes at 4:00 pm with the lifts? Well think again as, really, the fun has just begun! Join a local guide for a Moonlit Snowshoe tour of the majestic surroundings of Crested Butte all under a full moon. The snowshoe tours leave at 6:30 pm, so don't wait and sign up today by calling (970) 349-4554.

Wednesday's with Wendy continues tomorrow with an advanced/expert level class, lead by Wendy Fisher; where you will venture into Crested Butte's extreme terrain and get to know that area of the mountain better, all while getting some great tips along the way. To book your spot, visit the Adventure Center or call (970) 349-2211.
