It's another stupendous day here on the slopes of Crested Butte Mountain Resort on this Tuesday, the 28th day in February, as 1 inch of snow has fallen since the lifts closed and it's going to continue falling throughout the rest of the day! Over 100 inches of snow have fallen so far this season, creating an incredible 46 inch base! Temperatures are expected to reach the mid 20's today, with over a foot of new snow expected to come down. It couldn't be a better day for all your powder hounds out there as 97 trails are open, which can be accessed from the 14 lifts that are spinning. But if it's fast, smooth cruisers you're after, well thanks to the groomers, 61 of those slopes have been groomed to perfection and Crystal has been dubbed the groomer's choice for the day. So whether it's powder shots, soft and fluffy bumps, or Colorado's best corduroy you're after, Crested Butte Mountain Resort has 98% of the entire mountain open, including 100% of beginner, intermediate and advanced terrain, as well as 50% of the extremes, giving you enough shreddable terrain to keep you happy throughout the entire day.
