Bring kids of all ages to the Mountaineer Square Ballroom from 4-5pm this evening for the 2nd Annual "Kids' Rock" Winter Concert. This year's featured band, the Littleague, is a fun, high-energy hip hop group just for kids and families. Enjoy jazzy beats, wholesome lyrics and a whole lot of hip hop. Tickets can be purchased at the door just before the program begins at 4pm. If you've been in town during the last few days, you've seen Elk Avenue begin to transform. From 5pm-9pm this evening, all eyes in downtown Crested Butte will be focused on the non-traditional terrain park jump that has been created on the main thoroughfare through town. Big Air on Elk is an annual event hosted by the Colorado Freeskier, benefiting the Crested Butte Ski Club, featuring celebrities as well as local favorites, and is always a crowd-pleaser.

With bluebird skies in the forecast today, it's a perfect time to enjoy the unprecedented view from the top of the iconic peak of Crested Butte Mountain.
