I hope you’re thirsty today, thirsty for some snow that is expected to fall on this thirsty Thursday, the 2nd day in April of 2015. On top of mostly cloudy skies and a good chance for snow today, temperatures are expected to reach the mid 40’s, making it a swell day to cruise down any of the 84 trails that are open and spread across over 900 skiable acres. Of those open runs, 48 have been groomed, with Keystone being dubbed the groomer’s choice of the day!

There’s nothing like taking a break in the middle of a wonderful ski day, especially when you don’t have to leave the slopes! Grab lunch on the deck of Uley’s Cabin, where pulled pork sandwiches, elk sausages and buffalo chili are only a few of the many delectable options you can enjoy! The lifts may be closing on Sunday, but that doesn’t mean the fun ends here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Grab some friends and head on up to watch the 2nd Annual Snowmobile Contest, where the Ultimate Snowmobiler will be crowned. On April 10-12, watch snowmobile mayhem in Hill Cross, Hill Climb, Hill Drags, and Snow Cross and be prepared to be amazed! The slopes are calling your name on this last Thursday of the ski season!
