Rise and shine skiers and riders of Crested Butte Mountain Resort to a gorgeous start to another stellar weekend on this 22nd day in January of 2016. Bluebird skies will dominate today offering exceptional views from any one of the 15 lifts you choose to carry you to the 884 snow filled acres of terrain available. Thanks to Mother Nature, all 98 diverse trails currently offered are layered in a super soft 47 inch base and the nearly 8 FEET she’s dumped on us this season so far will ensure lap after lap of sweet carving opportunities. Our groomers have been hard at work overnight to ensure Colorado’s Best Corduroy is spread across 300 amazingly groomed acres and have sent word that Paradise Bowl is the place to be for the best groomed turns on the hill.

Save the date for tomorrow evening to take part in the First Full Moon at Ten Peaks. Take a self-guided skin or snowshoe tour to the top of Ten Peaks and warm up inside the Umbrella Bar. Enjoy a delicious buffet dinner under the moonlight, including fondue, salad, soup or chili, dessert and one complimentary wine or beer. Additional beverages will be available for purchase. Event tickets are for sale at the Adventure Center in advance for $30. Join us for après ski at the Butte 66, located at the base of the Red Lady Lift, for live music, food and drinks!  This is where you’ll want to be every other Friday afternoon this winter to enjoy live music in an intimate setting featuring local talent!
