Hello skiers and riders! Opening day is Thanksgiving Day! We have received 3 inches of new snow in the last 24 hours, 4 inches in the last 48 hours and 6 inches in the last 7 days and more is on the way! Join us tomorrow, Wednesday, November 23rd for Donation Day where tickets are just $15 for ages 7 and up. All proceeds will go to the Crested Butte Snowsports Foundation in their pursuit of supporting youth on the snow. Then, Thursday, November 24th we officially open for the 2016-2017 winter season and celebrate our 55th anniversary as we honor the memory of Crested Butte founder Dick Eflin with complimentary champagne and beignets. Lifts start spinning at 9 am and we will have live music by Justin Howard and drink specials all day. That’s all for now! Keep practicing your snow dance and we’ll see you on the slopes!
