Happy Opening Day on November 21st 2012 from your very own Snow Fairy here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort! We have a beautiful, sunny opening day with a high of 48*F for your FREE skiing pleasure. With a total of 18 inches of snow at our base and tons of fun activities it is going to be a wonderful day to kick off our season. We have 8 trails open groomed with Colorado's Best Courdoroy and 4 of our lifts spinning for your riding pleasure today. There is 13% of our beginner and intermediate terrain open today and our Groomer's Choice for opening day is Lower Keystone.
There are so many fun events to enjoy today besides skiing for free including Ullr's Prayer for Snow First Chair at 9am and KBUT playing tunes on Butte 66 Deck all day long. Dust off your ski boots and get into your best Snow Maiden and Vikings costumes to welcome the God of Snow to Crested Butte Mountain.
