Good morning from beautiful Crested Butte Mountain Resort! Today is Wednesday, December 28, 2016 and it is going to be another gorgeous day out on the slopes. We have received 2 FEET of snow in the last week and more is in the forecast for this weekend! We have 81 open trails and our grooming team has buffed out 63 groomers for your enjoyment. Join us for après at Butte 66 for live music, drink specials, fireworks and a torchlight parade put on by Crested Butte's finest ski and snowboard instructors. From 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, watch as they wind their way down the mountain carrying orange flames to light up their path. During the torchlight parade, there will be a fireworks show, best seen from the base area of the mountain on the Butte 66 deck. Work out the kinks and take time for some much needed relaxation after a hard day out on the hill at or famous Wildflower Spa, located in the Grand Lodge. Each treatment is customized to meet your needs and you will have complimentary access to our steam room, pool, and hot tub. Stop in at the front desk at the Grand Lodge Today!
