Announcements
Good chilly morning, Crested Butte! Today we’re taking advantage of the sunshine, but it is going to be brisk out there so be sure to layer up! Come take advantage of our 15 open chairlifts and 108 trails, which are nice and soft from the 15 inches of snow that we have received in the past week. The snowcats were busy last night, and have laid down perfect corduroy for you on 68 of our open runs. With 1148 skiable acres of terrain open, there’s something to make everyone smile!

Hey, ladies! Not sure who was crowned ‘Queen of the Mountain’ on the hill today? Don’t worry, KBUT’s Female Arm Wrestling event will only leave the strongest woman on top! Take on your friends and neighbors in the ring during KBUT’s annual Female Arm Wrestling event. Join us in the Lodge at Mountaineer Square ballroom for the family event taking place from 4 to 6 pm, with the main event (ages 21 and older) beginning at 8 pm. In true Crested Butte style, costumes are strongly encouraged!

If you aren’t looking for high octane fun like the Female Arm Wrestling event, perhaps some solitude and nature is more what you need. Fantasy Ranch offers winter horseback trail rides throughout the winter season. These family-friendly trail rides allow you to explore the valley via horseback and experience a different side of the Crested Butte backcountry. For more information, please call our Adventure Services experts at (970) 349-4554.

We’ll see you out on the slopes!
