Happy hump day Crested Butte! It is February 1, 2017 and it’s going to be another gorgeous day out on the slopes and we have exciting news! Our Ski Patrol and Mountain Ops teams plan to open Third Bowl! Bring your backcountry equipment, as our beacon policy will be in full effect. We have 1,167 acres of open terrain for your skiing and riding enjoyment. Plus, cruise on down one of our 67 groomed trails of fantastic Colorado corduroy.
Soak up the sun in one of the Umbrella Bar’s Adirondack chairs. Located at the top of the Painter Boy Lift and open daily. You’ll be refreshed with access to a full bar, local beer on draft and plenty of food options to keep the whole family happy.
After a fun day on the slopes try a new adventure with our Snowcat Driving Experience! You’ll learn from real groomers, who will share their insiders’ tips for a smooth ride and give you plenty of hands-on practice time in a closed course.
