Special Announcements
Take some time today to check out the IFSA Junior Regional Freeskiing Competition going on through Sunday. The International Freeskiers and Snowboarders Association was established in 1996 by freeskiing pioneer Shane McConkey. Crested Butte will play host to a two-day regional competition February 4 and 5, where junior competitors ages 10-18 will compete in the famed Crested Butte Extremes. Cheer on these rippers today as they take on Headwall!

Also known as the Nordic Ski Capital of Colorado, Crested Butte hosts the infamous Alley Loop going on today. The course starts, finishes, and passes through the heart of downtown winding around on snow covered streets, narrow alleys and one lane bridges. At any given time, competitors may be cheered on by an alley party, find themselves surrounded by oompa loompas or skiing past a train of people connected by a crazy costume. It’s an event you won’t want to miss!
