Moisture is in the air at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Clouds are rolling in today with a 50% chance of more new snow to close out the season! This Powder Hound with some end of the season sensations today, Friday, April 5, 2013. Currently, we have 958 acres of sweet terrain open, 270 of which have been given the grooming love. 93 trails are waiting to be ripped up, 60 of which have been groomed up in the best corduroy in Colorado, and 12 lifts are cranking to get you there in style. Spring conditions are fantastic and the snow is riding super soft! Come out to enjoy some of the best days of the season on our 42 inch base! While out and about, take a few laps down International, as the Groomers have said it is the choice run today! Roost the Butte is almost here! Do not miss some full on snowmobile mayhem with snowcross, hillcross, hilldrags, snow ovals, and much more. Spectators can load gold link UP but they have to walk down. Skiers will need a valid pass/ticket. Enjoy the after party and annual Pond Skim with local rock band The Mex Pistols on the Butte 66 deck. With the season end drawing near, I know I will be skiing it up as much as I can! See you on the hill!
