Good morning and Happy New Year as Crested Butte Mountain Resort welcomes you to a wonderful January 1, 2014! The New Year is also welcomed with two inches of new snow and the opening of Teo Bowl, so head on up the High Lift and be safe. With 14 lifts open to zip you around to 100% of open beginner, intermediate, advanced, and 50% of open extreme terrain, there is fun for all skiers and riders to have on a 38 inch base thanks to the 100 inches of snow dumped on Mt. Crested Butte so far! With all the great weather and snow conditions perhaps we could all resolve to ski and ride more here in 2014! What a great way to start the new year with some new snow and by getting a little extra playtime on all the sweet terrain right here in Paradise. In honor of January being "Learn a Snow Sport Month," Crested Butte Mountain Resort is offering a $59 Beginner Ski or Ride Package for adults from January 1-31, 2014. This package is for first-time skiers and snowboarders, age 15 and up only. The deal includes an Adult First Time Beginner Adventure Ski or Snowboard lesson and a 1-day adult lift ticket valid for limited lift access on the day of the lesson.
