Good morning Crested Butte and welcome to another beautiful day on January 19, 2014! This will be a real sweet bluebird Sunday to get out on 14 lifts getting you to 990 acres of open terrain. Sixty five of 100 open trails are manicured by the hard working groomers into Colorado's finest corduroy! That includes Black Eagle as today's groomers choice. With over 130 inches of snow this season, any skier or rider can find exactly what they want as 100% of beginner, intermediate, advanced and 86% of extreme terrain is open on a 48 inch base.
It’s a day packed full of events with Roost the Butte during the day and the 80’s Party later tonight! Check out full-on snowmobile mayhem including HillCross this morning and SnoDrag this afternoon! At 8PM, the Six Million Dollar Band is LIVE and offering the ultimate 80's experience! Join us for a high tech light and laser show, mirror balls and elevated dancing platforms at Mountaineer Square. The cover is $8 and the first 100 guests 21 years of age and older get free 80's sunglasses! There will be drink specials and prizes for best male and female costume!
