What an absolutely amazing ski season here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort! This is Powder Hound with a tail a waggin’ to bring you the news that the snow is falling again today, Thursday, February 6, 2014 as we see another 2 inches on the ground in the last 24 hours! Over two and a half feet of new snow has graced our mountain in the last week and there is still a lot more in the forecast from now through the beginning of next week! The conditions have never been better, as we are open wall to wall, have 14 lifts cranking to serve up the 1,163 acres available, and it’s all blanketed in a soft 69 inch base. Our grooming staff is working tirelessly to smooth out 63 of those powder filled runs in Colorado’s Best Corduroy and have selected Prospector as their top pick today!
