Good morning Crested Butte Mountain Resort and welcome back to another epic powder day on this Tuesday, the 11th day in February of 2014! Not only did 9 inches of fresh snow fall in the last 24 hours, but 18 inches have fallen in last two days and 7 feet have come down in past two weeks, making for one incredible POWDER PACKED 84 inch base. Crested Butte Mountain Resort has already received 212 inches of snow so far this season (that’s almost 18 feet) and it’s not done yet! Snow is in the forecast starting tomorrow and lasting through the rest of the week, with temperatures reaching the upper 20’s. Fourteen lifts will be spinning today, leading you to over 100 diverse and exciting trails. Although “powder” is the word of the week, the groomer’s continue to work hard, creating Colorado’s best corduroy on 88 of those trails and recommend Keystone as their groomer’s choice of the day! No matter where you decide to point your skis or board, you’re sure to end the day with a smile (and a lot of snow) on your face; but thanks to GORE-TEX, you’ll stay nice and dry while enjoying the pow! There is simply so much fun to be had on AND off the slopes! Join us tomorrow night where Butte 66 will present Ben Roy and Jodee Champion for some awesome comedy at the Wednesday night comedy series. Tickets are $10 and can be pre-purchased at Butte 66 or at the door.
