t's shaping up to be a great weekend to come play at Crested Butte Mountain Resort as we now have 247 acres of amazing terrain available, with the opening of Ruby Road, Upper Keystone, Jokerville, and Upper Park, all of which are blanketed in a soft 26 inch base on this first Saturday of the season, November, 29, 2014. 6 lifts are spinning their wheels to lay you down on 36 trails, 23 of which have been meticulously groomed in "Colorado's Best Corduroy". There is fun for all skill levels as 40% of our mountain is open for this spectacular opening day weekend, with 64% being beginner terrain, 41% intermediate, and 4% of the advanced territory now ready to be ripped.  Point your tips toward Upper Keystone today for some smooth groomed turns, as the Groomers are calling it the choice run of the day.  Don’t miss all the fun the Adventure Park has to offer with the 9 hole Flying Gopher Mini Golf Course, Rock Climbing Wall, and Bungee Trampolines! The Adventure Park will be open today and tomorrow from 1PM - 5PM and is located right at the base area.
