Good morning everyone. This is Colorado's very own Snow Betty with the snow report for Crested Butte Mountain Resort on Saturday, December 18, 2010. It's another banner day in Crested Butte, with 5 inches of new snow in the last 24 hours. This weekend, the mountain is going to be super fun, with 100% chance of snow every day for the next 5 days, (Mother Nature's gift to you), and terrain openings all over the mountain, (a gift from our Mountain Operations team). We now have 95% of our terrain open, including 95% of our beginner and intermediate trails and 84% of our advanced trails. With a grand total of 80 trails to choose from, and 13 lifts to get you there, this Saturday will not disappoint! Those 80 trails are spread out over 596 acres, and include 300 acres of perfectly groomed terrain.
