Announcements
Morning friends, this is your very own Snow Betty on Friday, January 7th here to report it is going to be another sunny day in Paradise. Start the weekend off right with a few tracks in our 191 inches of snowfall! The mountain is open for fun for everyone, with 1036 acres of terrain, 15 lifts running, including 4 high speed quads getting to you sweet runs as fast as possible. There is a ton of pleasure to be had with 100% of the beginner, intermediate and advanced terrain open and 60% of the extreme terrain, enough for everyone of all levels.

And don't forget our other fun adventures offered in the Adventure Park, with ice-skating, bungee trampolines, a climbing wall and a new lift serving tubing hill, all now open! The bungee trampoline provides a turbo-charged, gravity-defying ride up to 30 feet in the air, while the Climbing Pinnacle features a 28-foot, 6-route tower with auto-belay. The tubing hill is now located on warming house hill in the previous adult learning area and features a new tow lift. On a sunny day like today, with a high of 33*F, it is the perfect day to visit the Adventure Park.

Or maybe you want to navigate the mountain like a pro. Go on a free guided tour of Mt. Crested Butte and learn your way around the greens and blues without getting lost! With over 60 trails for beginner and intermediates, the mountain can get very confusing. Make the most of your time on the hill with this two hour tour and learn trails, locations of lifts and all you need to navigate our mountain from an experienced local guide. It's a great way to meet some new friends and start off your visit to Crested Butte Mountain in a great way. Call 970-349-2211 for more information.

After a full day at the Adventure Park and touring the mountain you will certainly be ready for some refreshing beverages, satisfying food and some evening fun. Head down to town for a taste of Italy at Marchitelli's Gourmet Noodle, located at 411 3rd Street, right off Elk Avenue, open for dinner at 5pm. Call 970-349-7401 for reservations. Or perhaps your in the mood for something more eclectic like pan-Asian delights from the Ginger Cafe, located at 425 Elk Ave. The Ginger specializes in Indian and Thai cuisines as well as fun exotic drinks and a intimate dinning experience. Not in the mood to go out, order in! Call 970-349-7291 for reservations or delivery. And after a delicious meal swing by the Eldo for live music by Celestial Hoedown, located at 215 Elk Avenue. Enjoy the local flavor with beer from the Eldo brewery and belly-up next to some friendly faces.

Sounds like a sweet day to me! Enjoy!
