Merry Christmas from your Snow Betty on December 25th 2011. With a high of 27*F today and sunshine it is going to be a wonderful Christmas day on the hill. We have 12 lifts open this weekend including the newly opened East River Express Lift bringing you access to 449 acres of open skiable terrain. We have 93% of our beginner and intermediate terrain open and 51% of our advanced terrain now open. There are 59 trails open with 30 groomed trails of Colorado's Best Corduroy. A big thanks to patrol for running miles of rope and marking some of our summer bike features that are still out and about on the Gold Link side of campus. Our Terrain Park Crew did an excellent job in unison with our Groomers and the Painter Boy Park and Nastar are built and ready for everyone’s enjoyment. The Boarder Cross Course is finished and will open today as well. Snowmaking operations finished for the 2011-2012 season having made a combined total of 500 acre feet of snow! That is pretty amazing, thanks Snow Makers!
To end your Christmas Day stop by the WoodStone Grille for our delicious all-you-can-eat Traditional Christmas Dinner Buffet. Come and enjoy turkey with all the fixings and a prime rib for only $29.95 for adults, $14.95 for children 12 and under and kids 5 and under eat free with an adult. Service will be from 4-8:30 p.m. Reservations are highly recommended so give them a call at 970.349.8030.
