Goodmorning on January 2nd. This is your Snow Betty reporting in 2012 from Crested Butte Mountain Resort here to tell you it is going to be another beautiful and warm day in Paradise with a high of 41*F and sunshine. Our wonderful mountain has a solid base of 20 inches and 73% of our terrain is open with 93% of our beginner and intermediate terrain open and 65% of our advanced terrain now open. We have 12 open lifts today shuttling you to 60 open trails with 30 trails groomed totaling 478 acres of terrain open for your riding pleasure. The Groomer's Choice today is Paradise Bowl.
Did you know that every spring, Crested Butte Mountain Resort has a concert festival called FestEVOL? This year it will be a two-day event and the headlining bands will be Bare Naked Ladies and Guster, providing great music for all.
