Announcements
Good morning lovers of the snow! Today is Wednesday, January 18th, 2012 and what a beautiful day is in store for you, here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Not only did Mother Nature dump 15 inches down on the mountain in the past 3 days, 12 of which fell in the last 48 hours, but more snow is in the forecast through the rest of the week! On top of a chance for snow, you can expect mostly cloudy skies today with temperatures reaching the lower 30's.

Take your pick on any of the 10 lifts that are spinning, leading you to 65 trails and spread across 439 powdery acres. The diligent groomers continue to work hard, creating Colorado's best corduroy on 62 of those trails, and they recommend Upper Ruby as their groomer's choice today. So whether it's smooth, soft cruisers or thick, fluffy, powder stashes, the 36 inch DEEPendable base will be skiing and riding wonderfully!

Don't forget, National Safety Week continues today. Know the responsibility code and be smart in the park. To learn more about Safety Week, including Avalanche Dog Demos, On Mountain Tours, Emergency Services Demos, Lift Safety Demos AND enter in the raffle, visit the Safety Week Tent at the base area next to the Red Lady Express Lift. Be safe all while having a great time on the slopes!
