Good morning Crested Butte Mountain Resort! Today is Thursday, January 26th, 2012 and it's set to be another splendid day in Paradise. The clouds should roll in by the day's end, as there is a good chance for snow starting tonight and lasting through tomorrow, which will add on to the 59 inches of snow the mountain has already received this season. Take in the views from any of the 10 lifts that are running, leading you to 84 diverse slopes, spread across 626 acres. Sixty of those trails have been groomed overnight, and Prospector has been dubbed the groomer's choice for the day. Thanks to the entire mountain team, 98% of the mountain is shred ready, including 100% of beginner and intermediate terrain, as well as 99% of advanced terrain. In addition to the plethora of incredible terrain available for your skiing and riding pleasure, three jib parks are open and have features, bumps and the only super pipe in southwestern Colorado, that are sure to challenge the Shawn White in you. No matter where you decide to point your skis or board, you'll feel like you're floating on the soft, 41 inch base, thanks to the 26 inches of snow that have fallen in the past week.
