Good morning, good people. This is Colorado's very own Snow Betty with the snow report for Crested Butte Mountain Resort on Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Today, skiers and riders can enjoy 86 trails distributed over 770 acres of accessible terrain. Carve some turns on 60 groomed trails, and cruise the uber-steep Groomer's Choice for today, International. There are 13 lifts up and running on the mountain, including 4 high-speed quads that quickly get you to your mountain-top destination. 98% of our terrain is now open and encompasses the Cascade Terrain Park on Gold Link & Painter Boy, as well as the Southwest's only Superpipe. As for today's weather, we're looking at clear skies this morning turning into partly cloudy skies later today with a 30% chance of snow flurries. Want to learn how Colorado's Best Corduroy is made?
