Announcements
Good morning skiers and riders of Crested Butte Mountain Resort! What a great way to start the week on this Monday the 13th of February, as 8 inches of snow have fallen in the past 24 hours and it's still snowing!! Add that to the 14 inches of snow the mountain has received in the last week, plus the 82 inches that has come down so far this season, and you know that the powder-packed 48 inch base is nothing short of DEEPendable. The best part is the snow is expected to continue falling throughout today and lasting through Wednesday, with temperatures reaching a comfortable 31 degrees.

On this POWDER DAY, you have your choice of riding any of the 13 lifts that are spinning, leading you to 86 diverse trails, spread across 770 skiable acres. Colorado's best corduroy covers 62 of those slopes, thanks to the heedful groomers, who recommend Black Eagle as their groomer's choice. The options are endless as 98% of the entire mountain is open, including 100% of beginner, intermediate and advanced terrain, as well as 27% of the extremes. No matter what you decide to point your skis or board down, there's something out there for everyone!

On top of phenomenal skiing and riding, there's plenty of other adventures happening all the time at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. For example, take a tour of scenic Mt. Crested Butte with an experience mountain guide, who will show you the in's and out's of everything the mountain has to offer. Tours meet at 9:45 am and 1:15 pm, both at the Guest Services Hut, located by the Red Lady Lift.

Whether you're a hardcore skier, an avid snowshoer or lover of live entertainment, Crested Butte has something to offer everyone. This spring, Crested Butte is pleased to offer yet another stellar FestEVOL concert happening March 17th and 18th. The mountain is psyched to announce that Barenaked Ladies, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, as well as Guster, will be the headlining bands, proving fun for all! Tickets are now available online at www.skicb.com/festevol.

And while you're online booking your tickets, why not go ahead and book your lodging for this weekend that simply can't be missed. Right now, Crested Butte Mountain Resort is offering concert weekend packages for unbelievable prices. Prices start at $157 per person, per night, which includes one night at the Grand Lodge, a day of shredding the slopes of Crested Butte Mountain, plus a concert ticket. For more information, go to www.skicb.com/festevol, or call Crested Butte Vacations at 1.800.810.7669.

What a way start the week! Happy Monday skiers and riders! Make it a great powder day!
