Happy Saturday from your Snow Betty on February 18th 2012. I am happy to announce we have 16 new inches of that sweet white stuff in the last week bringing our total to 53 inches today. With a high of 31*F today and sunshine it is going to be a wonderful day on the hill with some more freshies. We have 15 lifts open including the newly opened North Face lift bringing you access to 1082 acres of open skiable terrain. We have 98% of our total terrain open with 100% of our beginner, intermediate and advanced terrain now open with 58% of our extreme terrain now open too. There are 93 trails open with 69 groomed trails of Colorado's Best Corduroy. The Groomer's Choice trail today is Bushwhacker. Today we have Subaru Master the Mountain in the base area.  Hone your skills with free mini ski and snowboard lessons, enjoy music, giveaways, games and Nordica ski demos.  Also, Icelantic will have demos in the base area today, too. Get out your bright colored pants and fanny packs folks. We have out 80s Party featuring the Six Million Dollar Band at Mountaineer Square from 8pm to mid-night tonight. There is a $5 cover charge but the first 100 guests will get 2 dink coupons and 80s sunglasses. And of course there will be prizes for best costume!
