It's another powder day, my friends! This is Colorado's very own Snow Betty with the snow report for Crested Butte Mountain Resort on Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Go ahead and get your gear on, grab your coffee and breakfast burrito and head to the Silver Queen and Red Lady Express. In the last 24 hours, we've received 11 inches of new snow and it's still coming down out there. The conditions are going to be epic on the mountain today and with the 17 inches of snow that has fallen in just the last seven days, there are more than enough powder stashes for everyone! Take your pick of 97 open trails, 79 of which have been groomed into Colorado's Best Corduroy. With 100% of our beginner, intermediate and advanced terrain, as well as 60% of our infamous Extreme terrain accessible to you, chances are you'll be powder-painted this morning. We'll have a comfortable high of 32 degrees today, with some wind gusts in the forecast. Call your boss, your mom, and your friends on the East Coast…we're expecting snow tomorrow and Friday as well.
