Welcome to the weekend on Friday March 9th here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. We have had incredible snow here in the last few weeks with 24 new inches in the last 10 days bringing our total to 55 powdery inches at our base. 98% of our mountain is open with 100% of our beginner, intermediate and advanced terrain open, 60% of our extreme terrain open and the Peak is now open too! Hike up and enjoy the incredible views! Ride on our 97 open trails, 68 of them groomed with Colorado's Best Corduroy. And for all your jibbers out there head over to the only Super Piper in Southwest Colorado! Enjoy our Groomer's Choice today, Black Eagle.
The Banff Mountain Film Festival returns to Crested Butte's Center for the Arts this weekend kicking-off tonight with a variety of award-winning films. Tickets are available at The Alpineer in downtown Crested Butte. Call 349-5210 for more information. The event benefits our own Crested Butte Search and Rescue so how your support and enjoy some amazing films.
