Special Announcements
Tick tock, it’s skiing and riding o’clock here on the slopes of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. On this New Years Eve day, enjoy pristine conditions as 3 inches of fresh snow have fallen in the last 24 hours, and a soft and powdery 50 inch base anxiously awaits you. You can also expect to see mostly cloudy skies today with temperatures in the upper teens. I can’t think of a better way to end 2015 than by taking a selfie with friends and family on any of the 13 lifts that are turning, where the views will make your picture worth more than 1000 words. Keep the selfies and videos rolling as you’re shredding down any of the 79 open trails; if you’re looking for some cruisers to keep your camera a bit more steady, take your pick on any of the 68 slopes that have been groomed; and be sure to give Lower Forest Queen a whirl as it’s the groomer’s choice of the day.

Announcements
The fun doesn’t fizzle when the lifts stop turning, in fact, they just keep getting better! (If that’s even possible!) Ring out 2015 with a festive Torchlight Parade, followed by fireworks, lighting up beautiful Crested Butte Mountain. If your child is 7 and older, sign them up to be part of The Kids Glow Worm Parade, where they will light up the mountain with the ski school supervisors. Meet at the Red Lady Lift between 4:15 PM and 4:30 PM, sign the waiver, and watch from the deck of Butte 66 with live music and drink specials, as they clear the way for the Crested Butte Ski School Instructors, who will be parading down the slopes right after the little ones at 5:30 PM.

Looking for something to do after the last firework has lit up the mountain? Well look no further and take a quick stroll to The WoodStone Grille, located in The Grand Lodge, where a delectable New Years Eve feast awaits. For just $85, you and your significant other can enjoy an appetizer, a delicious main course, and a bottle of Pinot Grigio; now there’s a way to end 2015 in style! Call The WoodStone Grille at 970.349.8030 and make your reservation today!
