Happy 2016 from Crested Butte Mountain Resort! Our beautiful mountain has received nearly 7 feet of snow this season so far, giving way to amazing snow conditions across all 93% of the total terrain now open. We're starting this New Year off with a bang, as 79 powder filled trails are available to shred and are blanketed in a soft, 49 inch base! 13 lifts sparked to life this morning to lead you to 580 stellar acres of diverse territory, 310 of which have been smoothed out to "Colorado's Best Corduroy" and all of which offer exciting turns for any skier or rider. Those of you wishing to begin your 2016 with the best corduroy turns on the hill will look no further than Splains Gulch, our groomers top pick run of the day!

The High Lift opens tomorrow! High Lift will be opening on Saturday morning, with Paradise Cliffs and Headwall. The first 50 people with beacons will be allowed to enter the terrain first, then Ski Patrol will begin alternating those with beacons and those without in the lift lines.
