Happy weekend from Crested Butte Mountain Resort as we see beautiful sunny skies and spring-like conditions on this super Saturday, February 20, 2016. Grab the sunscreen as you head out the door to go carve some turns on the 1,191 adventurous acres of terrain available that are covered in a soft 53 inch base. 15 lifts are cranking their wheels this morning to get you to the 119 diverse trails open, 56 of which have been groomed to Colorado’s Best Corduroy. Speaking of groomed runs, don’t miss a few good laps down Paradise Bowl, our Groomer’s choice today!

Join us for après at the Butte 66 at the base of the Red Lady Lift for live music, drinks and food! Live music in an intimate setting featuring local talent - this is where you'll want to be with ski patrol director, Bill Dowell who will be rocking out 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. The New Umbrella Bar at Ten Peaks is open! Come enjoy the best views on the mountain while enjoying the hot soups, sausages, paninis, sandwiches, cold beer, and much, much more, all with a Bavarian theme! The Umbrella Bar at Ten Peaks is located at the top of Painter Boy lift and is open daily from 10:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Looking to improve your skiing? Sign up for the weekly Adult Saturday Clinic, taught by our awesome ski instructors. Currently they are focusing on All Mountain Crested Butte Skiing- groomed, bumps, crud, powder and the extremes. For the final weeks, the instructors plan on taking groups into Crested Butte’s world renowned terrain including 3rd Bowl, Spellbound & Phoenix Bowls, North Face, Teocalli Bowl, Headwall, and the West Side. Session will focus on building confidence using the technical and tactical skills that have been developed throughout the season. Join one day, or sign up for every Saturday.
