Well folks, it doesn’t get much better than this on the slopes of Crested Butte Mountain Resort, as 7 inches of fresh snow have fallen in the last 24 hours and it’s not over yet. Expect snow to keep coming down this morning, adding more snow to the two-day total of 10 inches! Needless to say, the 60 inch base is powder packed and ready to get taken full advantage of. Skies will clear later on today with temperatures reaching the mid 30’s, making it a spectacular day to grab some face shots on any of the 118 trails that are open, accessed by 15 lifts that are spinning. Yes, the slopes are packed with luscious powder, but that doesn’t keep the hard working groomers from creating Colorado’s best corduroy on 54 runs and recommend Houston as their groomer’s choice of the day.
