9:00 AM UPDATE: The mountain has received 3 more inches of snow since 5:00 AM!!!!!
Good morning and welcome to winter here on the slopes of Crested Butte Mountain Resort! Two inches of fresh snow have fallen in the last 24 hours and there's plenty more coming down. Over 14 inches are expected to fall by the end of this storm! 34 acres of skiable terrain are open today, which can be accessed by the 4 lifts spinning, including the Aspen Magic Carpet, which opens at 9:00 am.
As you're getting ready to hit the slopes today, make sure you are dressed for any element Mother Nature may be throwing at you, by stopping by Thin Air Sports, located in Mountaineer Square, where you will find everything you need to make your day on the slopes the best it can be!
