Good morning from beautiful Crested Butte Mountain Resort! Today is Wednesday, January 4, 2017 and we are just getting free refills with this storm track! We have received an additional 8 inches of new snow overnight and it doesn’t show any sign of stopping. We have 95 open trails spread out over our 15 open lifts meaning we are 85% open! Today will be 100% chance of snow with a high of 23 degrees. Today at 5 pm, test your metal in the first of our GO Skimo Ski Mountaineering Series, presented by Griggs Orthopedics. The races are free and feature a different course each time as well as include a free raffle, beer and food. Register in the Treasury Building from 4 pm to 5 pm and don’t forget your headlamp! Get your après on at Trackers Bar and Lounge, located in the Grand Lodge. Featuring a warm fire place, cocktails, wine and the infamous "boot" for beer drinking, along with tasty treats, and an outside patio for those warm sunny days, Trackers is where you want to be. Keep doing your snow dance and get on up to Crested Butte! This storm is going to be a good one!
