Good Morning from Crested Butte Mountain Resort! Toss on your sunblock this morning because we are going to be in for some sunshine throughout the day. To satisfy your downhill adventure appetite, the resort is featuring 117 open trails today with riding off each of the 15 open lifts. The four inches of snow that we received in the past 48 hours has helped soften up conditions around the resort, and the groomed runs have been skiing amazingly!
Whether this is your first time to Crested Butte Mountain Resort or you are looking for a little local knowledge of the mountain, check out our Free Guided Mountain Tours that are offered daily at 10 am. The tours are led by CBMR’s amazing Guest Services Team who knows the mountain like the back of their hand! Meet the tour guide right next to The Waffle Cabin – located slopeside at the base area near the ski valet – for your tour of the mountain. Each tour lasts approximately two hours and emphasizes ease of travel around the mountain.
At the end of your day on the slopes, head over to Butte 66 for some fun in the sun! Butte 66 is the perfect spot to cap off your ski day with a drink and a bite to eat. This afternoon, Justin Howard will be performing live music at Butte 66 from 3 pm to 5:30 pm!
There are just over two weeks left in the ski season, so let’s make the most of it! We’ll see you out on the slopes!
