Rise and Shine and welcome to the final Thursday of the 2016-17 season. Today, April 6, 2017 expect a high of 42 degrees and sunny skies. High temperatures and calm wind will make today a perfect day to get in some last minute spring skiing! We only have a few days left, so join us for another beautiful sunny day at the Butte. The end of ski season is another excuse to celebrate, dress up in silly costumes and have wacky events, like the LandShark Pond Skim on April 8, where contestants skim across water on their skis and snowboards. Get in your last turns of the season and go out with a splash! This year, the male and female winners of the LandShark Pond Skim will each win an all-expense paid trip to a Margaritaville resort in the US! Also on April 8 from 1 – 3:30 pm join us at the Umbrella Bar at Ten Peaks for live music by Canyon Collected! The Umbrella Bar is Crested Butte Mountain Resort’s newest on-mountain addition, now open for the season! Join us to soak up the sunshine and 360 degree views, grab a drink and enjoy the new Umbrella Bar at Ten Peaks! Enjoy this last Thursday of the season at Crested Butte Mountain Resort!
