It's official! 424 record breaking inches - that means CBMR's seasonal snowfall total has eclipsed the old record of 415 inches set in the winter of 79-80. The lifts are closed for the season now, but we'll all be back and ready to go again in November, hoping that this year's conditions were the start of a trend. With this much snow, the snowpack is going to be here for awhile. Backcountry skiers and snowmobilers still have plenty of snow to go out and enjoy. In fact, the Crested Butte Avalanche Center has extended their season to continue providing weather & avalanche forecasts throughout April. Keep an eye on our Mtn Bike Trail Report above, provided by the folks at Crested Butte Mountain Bike Association. We'll have the latest conditions on all local trails, as we are all anxiously awaiting that first trail opening. After a day of adventure, have a delicious meal in one of the many great restaurants in Crested Butte. Menus for Le Bosquet, The Last Steep, Donita's Cantina and The Timberline can be found in our Restaurant Guide. Live music, theatre and dance keep the night scene happening.
